An easy dinner recipe that the whole family will enjoy, even your pickiest eaters For the Ground Beef... 1/2yellow onion-diced 1poundlean ground beef 2tspchili powder 1/4tspgarlic powder 1/2tspdried oregano 1/2tsppaprika 1/2tspcumin 1/2tspcayenne-omit if you're sensitive to spicy foods salt + pepper-to taste 1cuptomato sauce Toppings 8-12crunchy taco shells monterey or colby jack cheese-shredded fresh tomatoes-diced Romaine or Iceberg lettuce-shredded sour cream Instructions For the Ground Beef Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil and diced onion and sauté for 4-5 minutes, or until the onions are soft. Reduce heat to medium if needed, and stir often toprevent the onions from burning. Add the ground beef to the skillet and use a large wooden spoon or spatula to break the beef into smaller and smaller bits and pieces. Fully cook your ground beef before draining approximately 3/4 of the liquid and fat from the skillet. Return the skillet to medium-high heat. Add the seasoning and spices and tomato sauce to the beef and mix well to combine. Continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring often. Assemble Gently spoon the prepared ground beef into individual crunchy taco shells and top with all your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream. Enjoy!
