One of my images (of Massawepie Lake) is a prominent piece in the lobby of the Saranac Waterfront Lodge in Saranac Lake. A print of this size is tricky to mount and hang. Thanks to Laura's Custom Artworks in Lake Placid, we got it done today. The new hotel is opening May 1 - stop in and check it out.

Yesterday was perhaps one of the last hikes at Massawepie where there is a little snow and ice left...but not much - starting to transition to spring.

At times a visitor to my studio will ask "what's your favorite photograph?" For me, that is an impossible question to answer - to be honest, I don't have a favorite, although I do believe some images are much stronger than others. I will say though, of my NYC images, this is one of my absolute favorites. Yesterday was a black & white kind of day - West Branch of the Ausable River

Got over to Massawepie this past weekend for a short walk on the Massawepie Road on a very blustery day.

A heavy snowfall that covered everything this past weekend. A walk on the white trail around the northern end of Massawepie Lake.

A freshly fallen, silent shroud of snow...this past Sunday at Massawepie (thanks to Paul Simon for that alliteration).
