PSA: Next week, on Tuesday & Wednesday, our gas pumps will be shut down for 2 days while we have them updated & replaced with new pumps. Expected closure is from 8am Tuesday to 6pm Wednesday. We apologize for the inconvenience & anticipate opening the pumps back up Wednesday evening. We have plenty of gas in the meantime if you need to fill up beforehand, and will keep you informed if weather causes any changes to these plans. Our new pumps will be card-compliant with all new regulations regarding chip cards at outdoor credit card acceptance locations - AND will feature a TV screen to keep you entertained while you gas up in the future! Hello everyone! We have always been in the emergency services business and will continue to be here for you if you need us. We are monitoring the CDC and WHO websites for updates to policies & recommendations. The health and safety of everyone in our community is our highest priority. To protect our customers and our employees, we are decreasing our hours, disinfecting our store & office more frequently, wearing gloves while handling cash, limiting interaction between staf...f members, isolating our technicians, washing our hands more frequently, taking our temperatures, and practicing social distancing while on service calls. Our after hours emergency line is open 24/7 as always. 631.668.9169 We would like to encourage our customers to use the self serve gas & diesel pumps and pay outside with a credit card whenever possible. We are always available for full service for those that need it. Our plumbing & heating companies are able to take your credit card over the phone and store it for future automatic payments to reduce in-person payments. Luckily, a majority of our work this time of year has our techs working in unoccupied hotels and residences that have been shut down for the past 4-6 months. The very nature of their normal work is isolated. The best way to practice social distance in the event of a service call at your home is to have you leave your door unlocked and go into a different room, so our technician can arrive and come inside without direct person to person contact. If you are able to stay in another room or another part of the house while the technician works, that is best. If you need to speak to them, please do your best to maintain a distance of 6-10 feet. Our techs are always supplied with hand wipes, hand sanitizer & bleach. We have asked the techs to wash their hands, wipe down their vans and their work spaces after each job.
