Five simple exercises Sensei Dan challenges parents to do along with their kids
Hello ROCMA family! We wanted to reach out and provide a quick update. With the way many businesses have been shutting down indefinitely around our community we believe it’s important for you to know that we are not closing. What we are doing is working on transitioning to online training opportunities like many colleges and universities during this time. What that means is you’ll still get to train with our unique ROCMA coaching and instruction but from the comfort of your home. On top of that, we have a bunch of special classes and workshops planned for you once we’re all able to get back on the mat! Remember team that during these unprecedented times, you are not alone. We will continue to walk this journey together as we’ve always have. Stay tuned for further updates
In regards to COVID-19, ROC Martial Arts has decided to cancel all classes effective March 16th-March 22nd in order to protect the health and well-being of our students and community. We will make an announcement when the normal class schedule will resume once we reevaluate by March 22nd. We will continue to monitor developments regarding COVID-19 and keep you informed should any further changes be necessary.

Teamwork makes the dream work! Students and parents cheer and jump in with Jack as he completes 75 laps across the lot!
From our student Sarah: Our local area has felt the impact of unemployment, housing challenges, and increased food costs and scarcity due to Covid-19. Especially now with the elimination and/or potential significant reduction of pandemic assistance from New York State, families are finding it harder to feed their families. During this time there has been a significant increase in demand at local food shelves. We would like to hold a month-long food drive to help as part of ...a service project to assist the Penfield Ecumenical Food Shelf. Please bring in non-perishable food and household items and place them in a marked bin at ROC Martial arts. Some of their most needed items include but are not limited to: * Canned fruit (not peaches) * Canned vegetables and beans * Macaroni and cheese * Dried Pasta products * Spaghettios or similar items * Hamburger helper * Instant potatoes * Toothbrushes * Kleenex * Paper bags for groceries If you would like to find out more information about the food shelf or prefer to donate online, please visit their website at: https://www.penfieldecumenicalfoodshelf.com/ Thank you for helping out families in our community! Sarah Zurell
