Missing the crowds! #timessquare This Empire painting was the first of my original Pop Art New York series. I think it was the first landmark building I visited as a child and remember going up in the sky high above the clouds and how exhilarating it was. I wanted to capture that feeling when I made this drawing. That's where the clouds come from. This painting was one of the original drawings that I produced on lots of products for my souvenir company Fifth Avenue Man...ufacturers. It represents my classic iconic style that is recognized all over the world. This painting was part of my original New York City Pop Art collection. When I painted it I felt such a sense of inspiration and excitement. A building so tall that it touched the clouds. Now when I look at it, and remember, my heart is so full of sadness.
