Masjid Isa Ibn Maryam

Eid Ul-Fitr will be on Thursday, May 13 Insha’Allah. There will three prayers to accommodate for extra spacing due to COVID-19 requirements. The first prayer will be at 8:00; the second prayer will be at 9:00; and the third prayer will be at 10:00. Insha’Allah. People will be admitted on a first come first served basis. May Allah accept your fasting and good deeds. Ameen.

The Ramadan Youth Program was visited by Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh on May 3. The Mayor fasted that day in solidarity with Muslims for Ramadan. He also served as one of the judges for the Masjid Art Contest. The students recited Quran, performed Islamic songs and participated in a Question and Answer session with the Mayor. He stayed and broke his fast with the students and also had Iftar. It was a great night of learning. Alhamdulilah.

As we begin the last 10 nights of Ramadan, the students continue to be excited about being Muslims and learning about their deen, self-defense and recently designing their own masajid. Please keep our youth in your du’a, Insha’Allah.
