There are never enough words to encompass all the emotions of this day. For those that do not know me, I am an active NYS Certified Paramedic. This morning I tucked my scarred and beaten boots at the foot of my bunk room bed because I will be on duty again tonight. Looking at those boots, I remember how honored I am to work with so many amazing individuals that were there as the towers fell and through the aftermath; now scarred far worse than my boots, they still battle the ...awful events of 19 years ago. On that day, I had no idea the depths of this profession and the others we work so closely with....and although I have found the beauty in healing through massage therapy......I will never forget
