Massapequa Fit Body Boot Camp 28.05.2021

If you’re a fan of crispy orange chicken from Chinese take-out restaurants, then you are going to simply love this healthier at-home version. While traditional orange chicken dishes taste great they are filled with gluten, sugar, soy and unhealthy fats that cause weight gain. Not a good thing when you are trying to get fit and healthy! This version is much healthier so you can enjoy the flavors you love without any of the guilt. This dish is really quick to throw together for... a weeknight dinner and tastes so good you won’t believe it’s healthy. As a bonus you won’t get that big belly ache like with the take-out version. Enjoy! Courtesy of RealHealthyRecipes.com What you need Servings: 6 1/2 cup orange juice concentrate (no sugar added) 3 Tablespoons coconut aminos 1 Tablespoon olive oil Zest from one orange 3 cloves garlic, minced Dash red pepper flakes 2 packets Stevia 1 tablespoon coconut oil 2.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thigh, cut into bite sized pieces Dash salt and pepper Dash granulated onion 1 tablespoon sesame seeds 3 green onions, chopped Instructions 1. Combine the orange juice concentrate, coconut aminos, olive oil, orange zest, red pepper flakes and Stevia in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat the coconut oil on medium-high. 3. Generously season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper and granulated onion. Add chicken to hot skillet and brown on all sides. 4. When chicken is almost fully cooked, add the orange sauce, stirring to coat all of the chicken. Cook, uncovered, simmering the sauce until thickened and fully sticking to the chicken. 5. Garnish with sesame seeds and freshly chopped green onion. Nutrition One Serving Equals, 282 calories, 12g fat, 505mg sodium, 12g carbs, 1g fiber, 35g protein

This recipe for Green Goddess Hummus combines both fresh and powdered greens and veggies to great a flavorful spread that is PACKED with powerful nutrition. What's really awesome is that it tastes SO GOOD! You'd never suspect how healthy and beneficial it is for you ;) . You’ll be able to dip veggies, pita bread and crackers in this super hummus, as well as add it noodles for a tasty low carb pasta . INGREDIENTS:... 2 heads Garlic 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 cans (15 oz) garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed 1 Lemon, zested and juiced 2 tablespoons tahini 1 scoop TRULEAN Ageless Super Powdered Greens 1 teaspoons sea salt 1 teaspoon ground cumin teaspoon black pepper cup fresh spinach cup fresh parsley (or cilantro, basil, dill, tarragon or mint) 2 tablespoons Green Onion Sesame seeds, olive oil, parsley, chopped walnut (optional garnish) . HOW TO MAKE: 1 Preheat the oven to 350F. Cut a -inch slice off the top of the garlic heads. Drizzle a teaspoon of olive oil over the bulbs, and then wrap in foil. Bake for 1 hour. 2 Once the garlic has cooled a bit, gently squeeze out the cloves and transfer them to the bowl of a food processor. 3 Add the beans to the food processor along with the lemon juice, tahini, TRULEAN greens, remaining 5 teaspoons of olive oil, salt, cumin, and pepper. Blend until the mixture is smooth and thick. 4 Add the spinach, herbs, and chives. Pulse until blended smoothly into the hummus. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. Zucchini Quinoa Chocolate Chip Muffins. Try this healthy muffin recipe!! So Yummy! What you need Servings: 24... cup cooked quinoa 1 cup blanched almond flour 1 teaspoons baking soda teaspoon sea salt 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon pinch of nutmeg 3 eggs 3 Tablespoons raw honey, melted 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 banana, mashed 1 Tablespoon coconut oil, melted 1 cup zucchini, shredded and drained cup lily’s mini chocolate chips (stevia-sweetened) Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and generously grease a mini muffin tin with coconut oil. 2. Combine the quinoa, almond flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in a medium bowl and set aside. 3. Combine the eggs, honey, vanilla, banana and oil in another bowl. Mix well and add the dry ingredients. Mix until fully combined. 4. Fold in the zucchini and chocolate chips. 5. Pour 1 Tablespoon of batter into 24 mini muffin tins. 6. Bake for 18 minutes or until golden and set. 7. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. 8. Transfer out of muffin pan and cool on wire rack. Enjoy!

The best option is what will allow you to be consistent. The name of the business doesn’t matter, the length of the workouts doesn’t matter, the structure of the workouts doesn’t matter...if it doesn’t allow you be consistent. When it comes to losing weight/losing fat a majority of your results will come from what you eat and behavior modification, not how many calories you burn #truth If someone isn’t seeing results 9.9 out of 10 it comes down to your nutrition and daily habits. At Fit Body we are committed to being the best 30 minutes of our clients' day, creating a fitness community second to none, and supporting our clients in their fitness journey. Hello Massapequa and the surrounding communities. As you may have heard, a large group of small gym owners have banded together (I am included) to file a class action lawsuit against the State of NY for removing gyms from the phase 4 reopening plan without due process. Your donations will go a long way to helping us fight this battle and get gyms open again and hopefully save these small gyms from the brink and most importantly, changing lives for the better. We have grown in... the thousands via our Facebook group and are now the NYFC -New York Fitness Coalition - and we need your help in our fight to reopen. We believe strongly in Fitness as medicine and with our Governor categorizing such a broad range of facilities as "gyms" we are asking only for the same opportunity that every other industry was given, to prove we can open safely. Sanitization, precautions, and social distance measures will be unique to each facility but we are united in our confidence to keep members safe in our facilities while combating the comorbidities of COVID, elevating mental health and overall wellbeing. Our goal is set to cover the legal fees necessary in filling for the right to reopen. On behalf of all NYS facilities, we thank you for contributing to saving our businesses so that we can continue to do our job, changing lives for the better. As governors are trying to figure out how to ease back in to a new normal, please remember: one person’s choice is not a reflection on your choice. Some people don’t agree with the state opening.... that’s okay. Be kind anyway. Some people are still planning to stay home.... that’s okay. Be kind anyway.... Some are still scared of getting the virus and a second wave happening....that’s okay. Be kind anyway. Some are sighing with relief to go back to work knowing they may not lose their business or their homes....that’s okay. Be kind anyway. Some are thankful they can finally have a surgery they have put off....that’s okay. Be kind anyway. Some will be able to attend interviews after weeks without a job....that’s okay. Be kind anyway. Some will wear masks for weeks....that’s okay. Be kind anyway. Some people will rush out to get the hair or nails done.... that’s okay. Be kind anyway. The point is, everyone has different viewpoints/feelings and that’s okay. Be kind anyway. We each have a different story. If you need to stay home, stay home. But be kind anyway.
