I am happy to announce that progress is being made on the Historic Captain Hawkins House in Moriches. Last week the Town of Brookhaven cleaned up the property a...nd removed dead trees and yesterday the Suffolk County Parks Department installed a new sign. I look forward to seeing this location developed into the site of the Mastic Peninsula Historical Society. See more
