Mayor Paul Pontieri 21.12.2020

A message from Mayor Paul Pontieri WHEN YOU VOTE CHOOSE EXPERIENCE YOU CAN TRUST! When you vote in Tuesday’s Patchogue Village election, you will determine the course of action during the next four years. So much has changed, but there is one thing that you can be sure of, these difficult times demand strong leadership and experience you can trust. Trustees Jack Krieger, Lori Devlin and Thomas Ferb have helped to guide Patchogue through its revitalization, and they are now ...prepared to help me navigate the post-pandemic world. I admire and trust them all and I ask that you re-elect the Patchogue 2020 Team so we can continue to provide the leadership that you deserve now and in the future. Please share this with your Facebook friends and neighbors and encourage them to vote Row A all the way on Tuesday, September 15. Go to www.Patchogue2020.com/Vote to find your polling place. Thank you. Deputy Mayor, Trustee Jack Krieger is a lifelong resident committed to improving the quality of life for everyone who calls Patchogue home. As liaison to the Patchogue Theatre, Jack helped to establish the performing arts on Main Street and was on the committee that brought ArtSpace to Patchogue. He modernized Public Safety and introduced a video monitoring program in our downtown and neighborhood parks. He increased the number of parking spaces and generated millions of dollars in revenue with resident-free metered parking that helps stabilize your taxes. Trustee Lori Devlin is the person most responsible for establishing the thriving arts community in Patchogue. She played a critical role in bringing ArtSpace to our downtown and is a founding member and current President of the Patchogue Arts Council. Working with Trustees Krieger and Ferb, they turned Patchogue into the leading Arts and Entertainment center on Long Island. Her work with the Planning, Zoning and Architectural Review Board has turned Patchogue into a vibrant community that continues to attract young people and families to the village. Trustee Thomas Ferb is liaison to the Budget/Finance Department and his extensive financial background has helped the Village maintain a strong AA Bond Rating from Standard & Poors. Under his guidance, our strong Fund Balance protects every resident from unmanageable yearly tax increases. As Commissioner for Budget and Economic Development he has worked with the Business Improvement District and Chamber of Commerce to make Patchogue a vibrant, business-friendly downtown. He also serves as the Treasurer of the Cemetery Restoration Committee, is on the board of the Patchogue Arts Council and is former President and current Treasurer of the Patchogue Lions Club.
