Dr. Pender and the staff are so excited to start to welcome back our beloved patients and friends! Here is a short and fun informational video of some of things to expect as part of our phased reopening. Be well and stay safe!

If any of our patients, their families or our community members needs assistance during these unforeseen times please let us know. The dental office will remain open on limited hours for emergencies, although we might miss your call please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you. Please don’t be shy to ask us for help, we will deliver water, food, and other necessities if needed. Together in community and health, Dr. Pender and the Mayville Dental team

Dear Patients, Friends and Community members, Given the current health crisis and following the recommendations from the health agencies and dental associations, we are sad to announce that our office will be temporarily closing effective 3/18/2020 for all non-emergent dental procedures. If you have a scheduled appointment in March or early April someone from the office will be reaching out to you directly regarding this schedule change. During the closure, we will be check...ing our voicemail regularly and Dr. Pender will still be available to our patients for certain emergency dental needs. If you are having a dental emergency, please call 716-753-7612 and leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Unless your situation is dire, we do not encourage you to visit a hospital and further stress our healthcare system. This was a very difficult decision but feel it is in the best interest of the patients, staff and community. Please feel free to leave a message and we appreciate your understanding and support during these times of uncertainty. Together in health, The Mayville Dental team!

Halloween is only 2 weeks away and such a fun time of year! However, don’t forget to be extra careful with all the sugar the kids (and adults) might be having this time of year and be sure to brush those teeth! What do you think of our Jack O’ Lantern here at the office?

A couple fun soccer facts from our practice.... #1 Did you know that Dr. Pender Erin Elizabeth was an All-conference midfielder in college and was state championship runner-up twice in high school? #2 We are proud to sponsor the BAYSO U-6 Soccer team this season and are having a blast this with all the kids!

Today at Mayville Dental Arts we officially went digital and Brian Pender was our first test-patient! We are proud to offer this wonderful technology, all in the spirit of providing our patients with comprehensive and compassionate care. Check According to the American Dental Association, some of the primary benefits of digital X-rays include: 1) Better & More Complete Images: Digital x-ray images can be enlarged and enhanced on the computer screen. This makes it much easier... for patients and the dentist to see the pictures and make better diagnosis. 2) Speed: No more manual film processing and we can now digitally submit x-ray images to insurance companies, which may help claims get processed faster. 3) Eco Friendly: Digital x-rays are environmentally friendly. They eliminate the need for film and film processing chemicals. 4) Less Radition: Digital x-ray images typically require up to 70% less radiation. Thanks to our friends at Maplehurst Country Club we are thrilled to have our own custom golf cart available for rent during your round! Dr. J and Brian Pender were able to enjoy the sunshine and get in nine holes last week.... we won't say who shot the better score!

Our friends Big Inlet Brewing have confirmed that SiriThaiCuisine will be there this Thursday night for our open house event serving up their delicious cuisine for our guests enjoyment. Look forward to seeing everyone who can join us later this week. Also, don't forget to bring your singing voices and dancing shoes as Bill Ward Music will be there to rock the house!
