Mazzstock 2020 Cancellation Announcement It is with a heavy heart that we are officially announcing that due to COVID-19, Mazzstock will not take place in 2020 :( We will miss all of the awesome people who make our event special this year, and we look forward to celebrating life, love, music, and our health with you under more normalized circumstances in 2021. Mazzstock performer Ian Flanigan is in the FINALS of NBC's The Voice tonight and we are so proud of him! All of his performances have been stellar, and he has a real shot of winning this show and furthering his career-- let's help him out, fam! We have until 7 AM to all vote for our guy here! Our friend and fellow Mazzstocker Jason Gisser runs a really great independent online radio station called Soul Mouth Radio, which spins independent artists from all over the globe ! The station features many of the bands and musicians who have graced our stage at Mazzstock, and we find ourselves tuning into the programs on their often to hear something different and as it really is a fantastic tool for discovering new music and supporting indie acts both near and far. Soul Mouth Radio's current platform is maxed out and they are looking to expand with an App to reach even more listeners and give even more promotion to bands. Mazzstock 2020 and COVID-19 Announcement We understand there is a fair amount of frustration and uncertainty among our fans and those in the festival scene in general as to what the future holds in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. We have always prided ourselves on a festival that is transparent and with a community that supports each other and comes together during hard times. With that in mind, we wanted to make a brief statement about Mazzstock Music Festival 20...20: As organizers, this event is everything to us. It is our passion and it is a huge privilege for us to bring you Mazzstock each year. However, we also understand that with that privilege comes great responsibility and -- especially in times like these -- that responsibility lies with the health, safety, and well-being of our attendees, staff, performers, and vendors. That being said, we would like to announce that Mazzstock is tentatively scheduled for August 20th-23rd, 2020. We understand this is an ever-evolving situation. If we feel it is not in the community's best interest to proceed in the weeks/months to come, we will announce at that time if we (1) move the event date back (2) entertain if a virtual event is feasible or (3) postpone the event until 2021. No tickets will go on sale until a final decision is made. There are NO BAND SUBMISSIONS for 2020, PLEASE DO NOT INQUIRE! All other applications will open once we know the direction the event will take. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe out there and keep washing those hands .
