Lent, A Season To Grow Spiritually Psalm 51 is great chapter to read. The focus of this chapter is the focus verse for Lent - verse 10. "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."... Here are some helpful activities that can he done during the season of Lent. 1. Pick a quiet place to pray every day. 2. Eat better, avoid junk food. 3. Lose weight, gain some weight. 4. Pray for people you know. 5. Fast at least one day. 6. Fast for 3 hours. Fast also from something that you know others are greatly in need of. 7. Read Scripture every day. Which ones will you be doing?

Scripture: Galatians 5:22-23 Kindness is tender concern for others reflected in a desire to treat others gently as God does all believers. Goodness is moral and spiritual excellence manifested in active kindness. They are generally used interchangably. Kindness is the disposition and Goodness is the expression.
