Manhattan College Republicans

The Rob Astorino for Governor campaign is currently looking for volunteers to help out in a variety of ways. Rob has done great things in Westchester and we would love to see him make it to Albany!

We will be holding our fist meeting of the semester tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12 noon in DLS 305. We will be discussing our plans for this semester and I encourage all who are interested to attend.

I saw this and thought some of you guys might find it interesting. The NYU College Republicans did a survey to see how many students could identify relevant political figures from pictures. Only 33% of the students could identify Governor Cuomo with 8 mistaking him for Anthony Weiner. What really surprised me was how many students couldn't identify NY politicians including Bloomberg, De Blasio, and Lhota. Full article: http://nyucr.org/2013/11/04/nyu-political-awareness-survey/

Our next meeting will be held this Thursday at 6:30pm in DLS 308 (usual time and place). Additionally, tomorrow at 1pm in Smith the Manhattan College Government Club is hosting David Beamer who will talk about the heroic efforts of the passengers of Flight 93. I encourage you all to attend.
