On Thursday, we said congratulations to one of the very best. Officer Blaskiewicz retired with over 27 years of dedicated service to the Suffolk County Police Dept. and over 33 years of dedicated service in law enforcement and military service. Jeff has been a role model in every aspect of community service, between serving the people of the 1st Pct. and also as a volunteer fireman with the North Lindenhurst Fire Co. Jeff was at every 1st Pct. community meeting relaying SCPD stats and talking and helping residents here at these meetings. Jeff we wish you a happy, long retirement. Your work here will be missed. Thank you!!
