Mead Orchards

We are currently hiring 2 Market managers for the 2021 season. The market manager is responsible for representing Mead Orchards on-location at the Farmer's Market. This position will require transporting booth materials to and from event site, setting up booth, and selling fruit and vegetables throughout the event. This is a part time position, approximately 10 hours per week. Job duties include: *Transporting booth supplies and products to and from the orchard to market. *S...etting up and tearing down the booth on-site. *Creating and maintaining an attractive fruit and vegetable display. *Handling cash and credit card sales. *Answering customer's questions about the orchard. *Providing management with feedback regarding market, customer preferences, ideal mix of product to maximize sales. *Following all safe food handling practices. *Supervising a second and third employee during peak season. *Other duties as assigned. Requirements: *Exceptional customer service skills *Prior retail experience (or similar) preferred *Ability to work with minimal supervision *High School Diploma or equivalent *Valid driver's license *Ability to lift 50lbs. Positions are available for Rhinebeck and Kingston Waterfront Farmer's markets.

Pre ordering still available deadlines from Tuesday 7 PM until Thursday 7 PM, but now walkups are also welcome! Spring is here and beautiful weather is not the only thing we are looking forward to!
