Spent a lot of time last several weeks researching Intermodal freight - specifically CFS rail freight out of our area. This would allow drivers to be a little more local. We would be picking up and delivering to the rail yard. Trying to get direct, but did get hooked up with several large brokers doing Intermodal. Not sure if it's profitable enough for me after everything factored in, not going to pursue at this time.

TECH TIP - Your cooling system should maintain a little pressure. DO NOT OPEN WHEN HOT. Many of these systems rely on the pressure to force coolant into the water pump, and cool the engine effectively.

Just looking at the savings with our new fuel card - up to 90 cents per gallon off - T/A Baltimore, pump price is $3.59, our cost is $2.69
