DAY 4 | WEEK OF ACTION FOR SEA FREEDOM Today we lift up the stories of community members who were targeted unjustly by the immigration legal system. Detention and deportation is anti-Asian violence. #FreeThemAll Sign the petition: bit.ly/seafreedom Share the toolkit: bit.ly/seafreedomtoolkit... Soeun was born in a refugee camp in Thailand during the time him and his family were fleeing war and genocide in Cambodia. At the age of 6, Soeun and his family resettled to the U.S. as refugees. Today, Soeun is a husband and father to five children, living and working in Maine. But because he was convicted of a crime when he was 20 years old, his life has been on pause ever since. Soeun is now facing deportation to Cambodia, a country that he does not know, and a country in which his family had to escape to survive.

DAY 2 | WEEK OF ACTION FOR SEA FREEDOM In order to #StopAsianHate, we have to hold to account the way the government enacts anti-Asian violence through deportation. Anti-Asian violence isn't just between individuals, it's ingrained in how our country is governed. TOOLKIT: bit.ly/seafreedomtoolkit PETITION: bit.ly/seafreedom
