By this point I’m pretty well-versed in all the tips around burnout because they all do help. But sometimes, if I don’t remember to take a walk, take a bath, take a nap, drink water, make a boundary, call a therapist, take a breath, buy a plant, or do a new face mask, it just feels like I’mfailing at another thing. I’m burnt out on trying to manage my own burnout. The first thing is recognizing that you have been burnt out and then thinking about what are the things that have contributed to it? Is it mainly work? Is it that you’re feeling like you don’t have enough time to breathe between assignments? Are you taking on the job responsibilities of someone else?
