Launching Day for our latest Residential Spud Barge. This 77’x14’er has a 2 - 30 diameter pipe pontoons that are joined with 18 diameter crossmembers. It is fitted with spud wells to accommodate 2 - 16’ x 30’ steel spuds for mooring it on location. The timber frame is decked with Fiberon composite decking for years of maintenance free use as will match the adjacent pier we built 3 years ago. We’ve been busy out on Kings Point rebuilding this 315’ timber pier. The original dock was destroyed during Hurricane Gloria in 1985. We’ve installed about one half of the pilings and hope to begin framing within a few weeks.

Custom 60,000lb capacity Boat-Lift recently installed by Melrose Contracting Corp. This lift sits atop 12 Greenheart pilings that easily support this HBC Suenos 53’. We will be installing a set of catwalks and a stern walk to make cleaning of the topsides and basic maintenance easier while elevated.
