We are excited to announce the addition of telemedicine to our services at Mendon Village Animal Hospital. With a telemedicine appointment you will have a one on one video call with a veterinarian from our office. While telemedicine is not appropriate for every concern, a number of common complaints can be addressed remotely. These include, but are not limited to: follow up care for chronic medical concerns, allergies, skin issues, gastrointestinal disorders like vomiting an...d diarrhea, and behavioral issues. Telemedicine appointments can also be a great starting point if your pet has a medical issue and you are not sure if they need to be seen "in person" for a physical exam. To get started: Book your telemedicine appointment on our website (https://www.mendonvet.com/telemedicine/). You'll be able to choose the day and time that works best for you. Once you've booked the appointment, you'll receive a confirmation email where you will pre-authorize payment with your credit card (your card will not be charged until the appointment has concluded). The cost of a telemedicine visit is $65. You will also be prompted to email us any images or videos of your pet that may be helpful for the doctor to see. Please note: -In some cases a full medical assessment and complete diagnosis may require an office visit and a hands-on physical exam. -Telemedicine is NOT for emergencies. -Our telemedicine services are only available for patients with an established relationship with a veterinarian at MVAH. The animal hospital will be closing early on Christmas Eve, and will be closed all day on Christmas. Our holiday hours will be as follows: Wednesday 12/23 8-5pm Thursday 12/24 8-12pm Friday 12/25 Closed... Saturday 12/26 8-12pm We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
