Libraries need your help! There is a bill in the NYS Senate today that would be a game-changer for public access to e-books. It would require publishers to sell commercially available e-books to libraries for lending. Please reach out to your State Senator today by filling out this form: https://cqrcengage.com/alany/app/write-a-letter. Let them know that e-book access through your library is essential for equal access! #ebooks4all

When asked why he thinks The Very Hungry Caterpillar has remained popular for so long, Carle said, I think it is a book of hope. Children need hope. You, little insignificant caterpillar can grow up into a beautiful butterfly and fly into the world with your talent. #RememberingEricCarle
