Hope everyone is safe & healthy. It's unfortunate that we had to cancel our 4th Annual MetaBash, but staying safe is crucial. So many have reached out to me with fundraising ideas and I'm so happy to announce that we are launching one of them (Thank you Lavina Datwani!) Raising money for Breast Cancer Research is still important, even now more than ever. For example, the meds I take lower my immunity to a non-fighting range, which means it would be highly unlikely for me ...and others like myself to survive COVID-19. The cancer community needs better medications and for that we need research. It will be a while until we can get to the salon for our facials, so we've partnered with Estee Lauder & Origins to give you a night of pampering, a tutorial and some free gifts! In light of the recent developments regarding the global COVID-19 pandemic, the MetaBash team has made a decision to cancel MetaBash 2020 that was scheduled to be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2020 in New York City. MetaBash takes the health and safety of our community with seriousness. Canceling the event is not only the right decision for me being immunocompromised, but the right decision for the safety of all of the guests. We'll be back to planning next year and hope that MetaBash 2021 is bigger & better than ever! Thank you all for your continued support of research for Stage IV Breast Cancer.
