It’s time for Handowin Xuan He’s (‘21) Takeover! Follow her on IG to stay up to date on her thesis story, ‘Snow Warrior’ Repost @handowin on IG | Who is she? What is she releasing? And what is she fighting against? The 1st mini teaser about my @mfavn thesis project #childrensbooks SNOW WARRIOR ( the original title is The Arctic Girl) The moment that I saw the photograph about a starving polar bear motivated me to start a story about the Arctic and related environment...al issue. The utterly pure love for animals and a small responsibility of saving this planet bolster the core of this story. She is Elena but can be any of us. #womenillustration #womenillustrators #polarbear #savetheplanet #supplyanddesign #socfeature #illustrationhowl #picame #illustrationartists #illustrateddoris #graphicdesigncentral #dsgncave #ladieswhodesign #childrensbookillustration #the_world_of_illustration1 #procreate #illustration #illustrator #illustration_best #creativewomencommunity #girlsmakingmagic #childrensillustratorsart #brutsubmission #womenofillustration #artguide_illustration #illustrationnow #illustration_the_best #svawesome #brightnessmag

Alexandra Beguez ('16) is working on a new comics project. It's a nonfiction anthology about New Jersey, curated by Kerri Sullivan of Jersey Collective. It will be published by Rutgers University Press. The comic looks at the Cuban immigration to Hudson County, NJ, nicknamed Havana on the Hudson, in the sixties and seventies, and the community's contributions to the area. We can't wait to see it! http://www.kerrisullivan.com/njbook...
