May 19th - June 9th opening reception: Friday May 19th, 5-9 pm. Charlie Bremer's graphic artwork combines photographic process with painting and mixed media and a surface of applied wax and resin. His art has been exhibited throughout the New York and Northeast region since 1980, most recently during April 2017 at the Bernarducci Meisel Gallery in Manhattan. In 2016 he curated a group exhibition, Independent Spirit, for the SUNY Oneonta, Martin-Mullen Gallery. He has created large outdoor sculpture memorials on the NYS University campuses at Potsdam and Oneonta. This exhibition will include work from Ex Libris; exploring the imagery of books and the human form, Anthropocene; message bottle studies of 19th century etchings, and the various "odd beauty" of art materials and common objects.
