Another premolar saved this week. Patient presents with deep decay tooth #4, almost to point of root canal. Nerve was alive and patient had no symptoms other than food catching. Rubber dam, carefully removed decay to nice hard tooth structure, cement barrier to insulate and protect near the nerve, filled with tooth colored filling, polished and sealed.

Will be following up with patient for a thorough deep cleaning to remove all calculus and improve gum health.
