We are monitoring the latest news about Covid-19 and are committed to being responsive as the situation evolves. With that being said, please know we are taking the following steps/precautions to ensure the safety of all persons We are sanitizing all hard surfaces such as the door handles, knobs, counter tops, desks, chairs, etc. The toys that we have in the reception area have been removed for the foreseeable future. We are cleaning the exam rooms and the equipment being used thoroughly in between patients. When looking for new eyewear, we will request that you put any and all frames that you have tried on in a tray that will be provided to you. These frames will be thoroughly cleaned before putting back on display. We respectfully ask that you call us to reschedule your appointment if: you have traveled internationally in the past 30 days have had a recent fever of 100 degrees or higher have had any symptoms of a respiratory infection such as a cough or sore throat have had known contact with an individual with confirmed Coronavirus just in general are not feeling well We also ask that, if possible, you do not bring any additional people to your appointment (ie. kids, spouses, friends, etc) as we are trying to limit the amount of people in the office at any given time. If you have glasses or contact lenses to pick up in the office, please follow these steps: 1. Call the office to schedule a time for pick up, this will eliminate too many people being in the office at the same time. 2. If you have ANY symptoms of illness, and absolutely cannot wait to pick up your purchase, call the office when you arrive, and remain in your vehicle. We will process any payment by phone and bring your contacts or glasses out to you to help eliminate you coming into contact with more people than necessary. Shipping your purchase is also an option. 3. If you have no symptoms of illness, you may come in and pick up your purchase in person. So I'm putting this out there again as I had huge success last year. As many of you know my family has been involved in sending at least one member of our family on a mission trip to El Salvador, through Young Life, over the February break, for about 9 years now. This year 2 of our girls are definitely going plus possibly Greg. Fundraising is an important part of them going as it funds the projects that will be completed while there. Each person is asked to raise $1700. Chris...tmas cookie trays are one of our biggest fundraisers. Each tray has over 3 dozen cookies and the donation price is $35 per tray (yes it is a donation so it can be used as a tax write off!) $30 of each tray goes direct to my family's account and the other $5 gets divided up between everyone that works to make this happen. Our goal is to sell 100 trays! Last year we sold around 50 - so we hope to double the amount this year! Please let me know if you'd like 1 (or 2 or 3!)trays. Don't like cookies?? Buy a tray for a neighbor, or a family member, or you could even just make a donation without the cookies. Are you a business owner? Consider buying cookie trays for your employees - the gift will make your employees happy and is tax deductible for you - plus your supporting a great cause! If you are from out of town but would like to purchase one or more for someone local - I will deliver it. Let me know asap as the deadline to order is December 13th - but sooner is better so we can plan to have enough cookies freshly baked and ready!
