There were so many love stories of deserving couples, it was a very difficult decision, but we could only choose... one. We hope all the couples who applied find a path to their dream wedding. Liz and Don both work in the healthcare field at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport and are Fairfield County residents. They became engaged on what would have been Liz’s grandparents’ 75th wedding anniversary with her grandmother’s ring. During the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, while caring for patients, they both contracted the coronavirus. The couple were out of work for several weeks. Due to being sick, they missed their engagement photo shoot and Liz’s first bridal dress fitting. Continue to follow us for updates on this Micro-Wedding! .
