Reiki II Certification: Okuden Okuden allows you to connect more to the universal energy, helping you to unlock 90 percent of the Reiki energy. You’ll learn three Reiki symbols, receive attunement, experience guided meditations, and learn distance healing and more about chakra balancing. Students will work further on full body healing and learn ways to incorporate Reiki into your life and life’s work. This class enriches your self-awareness, enlightenment, and connection to the spiritual world. You are certified to be a Reiki practitioner once you complete Reiki II. I'm super excited to announce a summer writing program I developed for kids to get really creative online! WRITE ON! Is a kids' creative writing series via secure zoom. I'm starting with two offerings. Series 1: Feeding Creative Minds... $125 for 6, 1-hour classes: July 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16 Focus on poetry, prose, and short essays through self-chosen inspiration. Series 2: The Weight of Words $125 for 6, 1-hour classes: July 21, 22, 23. 28. 29, 30 Focus on delving deeper into powerful words, different meanings, and how to make every sentence count. As a career writer and editor, as well as Reiki Master, working with kids, and being a mom of twins, I'm thrilled to put this thoughtful series together to further inspire all minds. With so much dis-ease within the world, I’m working on harmony within. I’m offering Reiki 1 via zoom in a three-hour intensive - one hour per class over three weeks. You will receive my Reiki 1 course book (via google doc) at the start and become certified in Reiki 1 upon completion. Reiki I’s certification includes a three-hour intensive where you will learn Reiki basics, and pet/animal reiki. You will be initiated, receive your attunement, certificate and manual. You will... have "homework" in that you have to practice outside of lesson, take notes, observations, and share. I’m a Reiki Master trained in Usui Reiki and I’m really excited to offer this online. Universal life force energy is exactly what we all need and the world needs right now. Reiki 1 is offered at $60 for entire three session class. There is a lot of fear, stress, and anxiety right now all over the globe. What's important is for us to calm the nervous system so we have the best immunity we can have. Reiki is an incredible way to do just that. You can perform Reiki on yourself as a meditation and to help yourself calm your chakras and, importantly, calm your Solar Plexus chakra, which is your nervous system core. The solar plexus chakra is just above your belly button area. Its color is yellow and a few c...rystals related are citrine, tiger's eye, and amber. Here is a great meditation to keep your solar plexus harmonious. Begin in a meditation pose that you feel at ease in. You can be laying down or in lotus position. Take three slow deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth, letting the exhale out a little longer each time. Resume breathing as you would. Place your hand together in prayer/namaste/gassho and feel your energy between your hands, connecting yourself to yourself, the earth below, the sky above. Visualize this connection. Stay here for at least three regular breaths in and out. Place both your hands on your solar plexus (above belly button). Deliver that energy within. Stay here for at least three regular breaths in and out. But stay longer if that feels right. Stretch your hands over your head into the air and visualize your fingers reaching out to the stars and beyond. Breathe here for at least three breaths. Place your hands on the floor/bed/downward visualizing your fingers growing like roots connecting deep into the Earth. Breathe here for at three breaths. Place your hands in prayer/namaste/gassho to connect within. *** You can also visualize the color yellow or let your mind visualize whatever color(s) come to you. You can also add in all the chakras but linger longest on the solar plexus and/or wherever you feel needs longer. Begin with root (small of back), sacral (below belly button), solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye (forehead), crown (top of head). Healthy energy to us all.
