We have some delicious assorted cookies ($10 1.5 lbs) waiting for you so drive on up to our Cookie Walk at Poughkeepsie UMC tomorrow, Saturday 9am-2pm to get yours! See you there!

March is the perfect time to offer up some delicious soups for a worthwhile cause and small donation. On Saturday, March 13th, 10am 2pm, Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church will be hosting a drive thru SOUP EVENT at 2381 New Hackensack Road (Rte 376) to benefit the ministry work of local churches through Mid-Hudson Love In the Name of Christ.... We will offer two different types of soup: CORN BEEF with CABBAGE and CHICKEN NOODLE with LEMON and DILL. Each with fresh, bakery rolls for a donation of $8.00 per pint, $12.00 per quart. Soups can be ordered prior to the event by going to the PUMC website at http://www.pokumc.org and filling out the Google form with the pertinent information or just show up. Redemptive Compassion is the biblical philosophy Love INC follows when helping people in need. It challenges many current and common ways of addressing needs. Come to the six-week group study starting February 21 1:30pm-2:45pm and learn about the six core principles and much more! The COOKIE WALK is HERE! Poughkeepsie UMC will again host the Cookie Walk. It is an event to benefit the ministry work of local churches through Mid-Hudson Love INC. This year, it will be different! To keep everyone safe, cookies will be prepackaged into $10 boxes (1.25 pounds) by limited masked and gloved workers at PUMC. We will obey all Board of Health and Church guidelines. Buyers will drive up and buy boxes of cookies. Based on the cookies donated, we hope to offer some specialty boxes such as gluten-free, chocolate, etc. For more information, to bake, or to volunteer, please contact Kathy Betz at email [email protected].
