Mid-Hudson Works

Mid-Hudson Works was able to donate the scooters we had to the local Vet2Vet program. We felt a sense of community give-back yesterday when Vet2Vet picked up the scooters. These scooters will be given to two local Dutchess County Veterans in dire need. Special thanks to Roosevelt-Vanderbuilt Historic Sites for their scooter donation to us, which allowed us to find it a good home.

I am proud to announce the 1st annual Captain Vincent C Bellino Patriotism over Politics Veterans drive. The Town of Poughkeepsie Recreation Department in partnership with the Dutchess County Veterans Affairs office and Mental Health America of Dutchess County Vet 2 Vet program are running a one time go big or go home drop off event. No box at the local grocery store or your office. This event will be held on Saturday January 23rd anytime from 9 am to 4 pm. This event will take place at the Town of Poughkeepsie Senior Center, 14 Abe's Way Poughkeepsie N.Y. 12601. Every single item or dollar donated will 100% go to veterans living in Dutchess County. We will only be able to accept - Hygiene Products - Clothing(not your garbage) - Food - Monetary Donations We will have a cash drop box and checks can be made out to "MHADutchessVET2VET". Drive up, someone will meet you to collect your donation and thank you and then you pull away. Very Covid Friendly. I am really excited to do this and make this something to do every year in honor of my father. Basically, I want to freaking blow the doors out of the senior center. Fill it with so much stuff the vet2vet program needs tractor trailers to pick it up. Screw politics lets take care of our veterans.
