GET READY GET PUMPED! IT'S GOING DOWN! WHERE: All NYC public access lakes and ponds. ( if you are unsure please notify either Neil Premo or david David J Fonseca) ***restrictions: dog pond and back waters of prospect park lake, main lake only! ** do not fish reatricted areas and private waters (there is GPS tracking on the tourneyx app which Neil and Dave will be monitoring) ... WHEN: Oct 10-31 Next steps- download tourneyx pro app on your smartphone and create a profile (free) this is what will be used to submit your catches. Once you've downloaded the app and signed up type in BATTLE ON THE BANKS in the search bar, click register for tournament it will then ask you to pay $15, once you do so you are in! What you will need to compete: accepted measuring devices will be hawg trough, ketch board, or the rapala ruler sticker which must be pasted onto a piece of cardboard.( demonstration video will be released in the next few days on how to use measuring boards and how to use rapala sticker ruler) Indentifier: this is a series of numbers/letters that will be relased on oct 10th at 12:00am to locate this identifier open the tourneyx app and click on idenifier and it will show you the code once you get this code either write on on your hand that you will be using to hold the fish down on your board while photgraphing it so it is visible in the picture or you can write it on an index card and lay it above or below the fish when taking the picture. Rules: Fish must be a minimum of 12 inches (largemouth and smallmouth only) 5 best fish will count towards your final limit. Do not conver the fishes eye or tail Do not place hand under gil plate while measuring the fish. Make sure your measuring device is on a flat surface (only applies to those using rapala ruler) Mouth of fish must me closed. (1/2" deduction for open mouth) Identifier code must be visible in every picture

Blood and sandworms are a beauty come get them

We've had a few customers inquire about the new regulations regarding Striped Bass and Bluefish and the DEC website not being updated. They officially updated the regulations on the website on May 8th, 2020 to include 3 Bluefish per angler, per day, and 5 Bluefish per angler, per day, if caught on a licensed charter/party boat. The Striped Bass regulations were not updated and we have been in contact with DEC to inform them. The official slot limit regulation on Striped Bass is 1 fish per angler, per day, between 28"-35". This only applies to Striped Bass caught south of the GWB. Please follow all DEC regulations and consider safely releasing all fish to assist in the conservation of our sport.
