It is with a heavy heart that The Midway Fire Department announces the passing of Lifetime Member Daniel Burnetter. Dan was a Past Chief, Past President, current Lieutenant of The Fire Police, Commissioner, Boy Scout Liason to our department, a mentor to many young firefighters, a Social Member with The Stanford Heights Fire Department, and so much more. He was very involved in our local community, and will be greatly missed by many. Please keep The Burnetter Family, the local fire departments, and all who have been touched by Dan in your thoughts and prayers. Rest easy Chief. We’ve got it from here.

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Santa & his elves at Midway have been very hard at work planning for our annual Santa detail. This year, we will be doing our parade a little differently. Like we did with our Easter parade, we will be having two separate Santa parades (one for the Station 1 Central Avenue side of the district & one for the Station 2 Consaul road side of the district. Both parades will take place on Sunday, December 13th, and will both kick off at approximately 10am. So...mark your calendars, and plan on keeping your eyes and ears open on Sunday, December 13th! Santa and his elves can’t wait to see you!

Midway would like to give a big thanks to all of the police, fire, & EMS Departments, and our own community members who participated in the Bub DiScipio parade today.
