Back in October, @victormanibo and @sean.collishaw did the socially distanced, minimally attended, wedding thing. It was fantastic.

The @bigapplerec bowlers! They don’t go to the same extremes for group photo day that the kickball and dodgeball folks do, but they make up for it in beer consumed! @ Frames New York

Today, a quick photo display on the art of the catch. Just look at the @bigapplerec kickballers concentration!

Sometimes the @bigapplerec players dodge the balls... sometimes they don't!

A few years ago, I started shooting sports for @bigapplerec -- kickball, dodgeball, and bowling. This is back to my first session with BARS -- Saturday kickball!! @ Roosevelt Island

Erin and I ventured out late on a very hot summer evening in Park Slope Brooklyn to prove you don't need a lot of time to get some great photos. Our first stop was at the above-ground F-line Subway station at 4th Avenue. In true NYC fashion, Erin was cat-called by a train's driver while she was posing for the 2nd photo. We took about 15-20 minutes to get some great shots there -- the lead to this series is by far my favorite -- then headed back to my office. On the way, we stopped at the gate you see in the last photo to go a little more grunge for the look. @ New York, New York

Faith showed up in Brooklyn during an unexpectedly late cold snap in late March. If there's one thing about the NYC weather you can depend on, it's that there will be one day that's way too cold, way too late, in Spring. We made the best of it and walked around the Brooklyn Bridge waterfront later in the evening. That, coupled with the snow flurries, meant we also unexpectedly had people-free areas in which to shoot!

Hannah visited New York City with her father & brother; given how much she loves NYC, it was a no-brainer to her dad that she should have her Senior Portraits taken in the Big Apple. Using her younger brother as a voice-activated light stand, we walked around the High Line, a few parks, and got some great photos to boot! @ New York, New York

Picture it! New York City, June 26th, 2015. The Supreme Court had just decided the fundamental right of same-sex couples to marry is constitutionally. Two days before the Manhattan Pride March. A date selected by Alex and Richard to get married because it was smack in the middle of their two birthdays. Fate or not, the three of us had a blast on a love filled day, and New York City residents were there to greet us, celebrate with Richard and Alex, and let us get a few good photos along the way. @ New York, New York
