Doctors, midwives, and other medical professionals take a guess at your due date based on your last mensural cycle and/or how far along baby is measuring but it’s just that, a guess. First, I’m sorry for taking longer then I planned to come back to social media. It was a much needed break for myself and my family. I wanted to give you an update on my business and how I’m turning it into a ministry. Change can be scary but change is good and I don’t want fear of what others will think to get into my way. Yes not everyone will agree and that’s okay. I have been feeling the call to move more into ministry work and or offer more spiritual support for mot...hers. After taking some time to think about how I was going to do that I finally figured out some steps to move forward: I’m still offering * Breastfeeding/birth/babywearing content * Blog posts * 1:1 support (mostly) * Regular content What I’m adding * Bible studies * Faith based posts * Lending library * Reduced or free classes * Partnering with local churches * Christian moms Facebook group What I’m taking away: * I’ve decided to pause working on my IBCLC certification. All cases outside of my scope of practice will be directed to one of my lovely mentors * Breastfeeding support group * Posting on weekends (this is our new family time without social media) * Taking in person births I’m so excited to move forward and see how this ministry can grow.
