Millbrook Fire Co. Auxiliary

Covid-19 forced us to postpone our annual installation of officers and dinner (multiple times). Tonight at our monthly business meeting a few of our awards were presented. The Shawn Fimbel Rookie of the Year Award was presented to Terry Donoghue. The Lynn Karn Memorial Award, voted on by the Company, was presented to Lt. Tim Race, Jr..... The Bert Roberts Memorial Award was presented to Allen Meyer. The following members were presented certificates for responding to over 100 calls: Kim Bownas (117), Kara Granger (190), Matt Rochfort (192), Ken Walsh (208) and Brian Hicks (333). Life Membership status (25 years of active service) was awarded to Leo Arruza.

The officers and members of the Millbrook Fire Department, Auxiliary and Rescue Squad would like to extend their deepest condolences to the family of past fire department Chief Tom Chadwell. Tommy served as Chief from 1981-1984. May he rest in peace.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Philip B. Thompson. Phil was a 53 year Active Life Member of the Amenia Fire Company and Rescue Squad. He was an outstanding Firefighter/EMT, a past Rescue Squad Captain, the company Treasurer, Fire Prevention officer, Parade Chairman, photographer, historian, mentor, and most of all a great friend.
