While I was an engineering student at Clarkson University, I had summer jobs with Kamyr in Glens Falls, in 1988 and in the pulp mill at International Paper Tico...nderoga NY in 1989. In 1998, when I got out of the Navy after eight years as a Nuclear Engineering Officer, I came back to my hometown and took a job working as a process engineer. So manufacturing and specifically paper making is near and dear to my heart. That’s why my tour of Miller Mechanical Services, Inc. in Glens Falls was special yesterday. Seeing equipment being designed and built right here for paper mills around the country is pretty cool. Thank you Elizabeth Miller and your team for showing me your operation and more importantly for your commitment to our area as an important employer!
