HomeSense is OPEN! Located in the former Toys "R" Us Location, {Carle Place off Old Country Road}, it's yet another place to buy stuff. As a savvy shopper who used to get paid $250+ an hour to pal around with clients, I've seen it all. Sad to say I'm not impressed by this new location. More of a warehouse than one of the Home Goods locations I frequent, {Bayside + Huntington}, it is a big tall space with lots of clean product. Categories + vendors I've seen before. Upholstered furniture was a bit pricy, but I wouldn't buy a sofa bed there anyway. They do sell large flashy light fixtures, but then again, I wouldn't suggest something like that from a discount store. Actually 1/4 mile away is the biggest lighting store with the best products. If you're searching for unusual, they always have a thing or two that stands-out:
