We welcomed our 2021 class of interns on Monday and we are so excited that they are here!! We are especially grateful to have the extra sets of hands for the Heart's Delight Spring Premier Horse show! Below our equine team -- L to R Equine Manager Karen Lassell, Adrianna, Megan, Emily, Carleigh, Franci, Elizabeth, and Kai holding Gordie -- shows off the banner that will hang at the Clinton County Fairgrounds during the show this weekend and provide a great backdrop for photos with freshly-won ribbons! We are thrilled that the forecast looks horse show perfect and our crew is very busy getting everything ready! Best wishes to all the participants! #minergratitude

Today we are celebrating the end of a long, labor-intensive research study where most hands from all departments were "on deck" in some way or another! We sure are grateful to our team for their perseverance and hard work and we are especially grateful to Udderly Sweets in Georgia, VT for the delicious cookies shaped like hay bales that Research Scientist Dr. Sarah Morrison hand delivered to staff today! #minergratitude

This is the construction site of our new calf barn as seen from the second floor of the implement shed on a gorgeous spring day last week. So grateful to be in such a beautiful spot and for the hard work of the construction team working to build our new barn which will help us to continue to take excellent care of our calves while improving efficiency for our staff and increasing our ability to conduct important calf research. The implement shed was built by William Miner for Heart’s Delight Farm in the early 1900s and certainly provides a unique perspective of the brand new barn being built for Miner Institute in 2021. Sometimes a new perspective can help you to see the bigger picture. #minergratitude

Today is Day 1 in a stretch of sunny, warm weather and we are all so glad to welcome it! Equine Intern Megan Green and HVK Noble Guardian, aka Gordie enjoyed some sunshine while headed for turnout this morning. There is plenty to be grateful for every day, but on the warm, sunny days, it is even easier to find gratitude. Thanks for all you do, Megan! #minergratitude
