A big shout out to Centereach Fire Department! They visit Miss Barbara’s every year for our fire safety program. Unfortunately, we couldn’t have visitors this year. They took the time to come by & drop off back packs filled with fire safety materials and goodies for the kids! You guys are the very best! We are grateful to finally reopen after being closed for a full 6 months. So many of us have been affected by COVID in one way or another. My heart goes out to the families who have lost loved ones, to the many businesses who could not survive and all who have lost their jobs as a result. Thank you to all the frontline works who continue to help us as we move towards recovering. Thank you to the administrators, teachers, secretaries, custodians and nurses in our school dis...tricts who have been working hard to help keep our children safe and happy as they return to school. To all the parents of our current students we appreciate the trust and confidence you have put in Miss Barbara’s when choosing a preschool for your child. I have to commend all of you for preparing them so well with separation and mask wearing. They are happy and well-adjusted to this new experience! See more
