Space is still available in the Forest Bathing with Jane Dobson series! Sundays, June 13th, July 18th, and August 15th, 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Join Jane Dobson, Mindful Nature Guide, and move mindfully through a forested landscape, actively engaging your senses and opening yourself to the awe and beauty of the present moment. This program will be 100% outdoors masks are required for those who are not vaccinated. Ages 16 and up welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. No... dogs allowed. Wear layers and proper footwear. Registration is required and limited to 10. The cost per person for Mohonk Preserve members: $20/session, $55/series. The cost for non-members: $23/class, $62/series. Healthy Ulster 2021 continues over the weekend at our Spring Farm and Testimonial Gateway Trailheads! Visitors with proof of Ulster County residency may obtain their passes at the Spring Farm and Testimonial Gateway Trailheads from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sunday, June 6. Join us for the second annual fundraising event celebrating art and nature on May 22, 2021 from 10 am 3 pm at Mohonk Preserve as you stroll along the Pin Oak Allée and nearby trails observing 26 artists as they paint, sketch, and create beautiful works of art. Following the event, the art will be auctioned via an online auction platform and proceeds will benefit the participating artists, Roost Studios and Art Gallery and Mohonk Preserve. The event is free to Mohonk Preserve members. Non-members will be charged a day-use fee of $15 per adult. Children 12 and under are free. Maps of the artists' locations will be available on site. It's Family Friday Food Drive Day today from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Preserve’s Testimonial Gateway Trailhead, 35 Route 299 in New Paltz, with curbside drop-off near the trailhead visitor contact station for donations of the following non-perishable items: Canned goods (vegetables, fruits, soups, juices, jelly, peanut butter) Dry goods (cereals, rice, pasta) Personal care items (toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, feminine hygiene products)... Household products (laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap) Donations will be delivered directly to Family of New Paltz to help community members in need. Thanks for your support!
