Hello everyone! Thank you for your interest in this new, annual event currently being organized by Fulton and Montgomery County's agricultural community. This i...s an annual event focused on connecting the public to local farmers! The first Farm to Table Tour will be held on July 31, 2022. Participating farms will open their doors for the day in an effort to educate and connect consumers to local goods and services. This is a "self-guided" tour meaning that you choose your route and the farms you want to stop at! Maps will be provided on-line and in-person to help folks plan and navigate their day. The idea sparked from Family Farm Day held in Schoharie, Otsego and Delaware Counties. This is a new venture so be sure to follow our Facebook page for all of latest updates and news! Black Friday Walk on the Chuck Trail is November 26th from 9am to 11am. The Friends of the North Chuctanunda ask all to meet near the old Elk’s Club on 4th Av...enue. The less than three mile walk will include the Powerhouse, Mohawk Mills Waterfall, Flatrock Park, Maxwell Waterfall and others. Rain or shine and open to all. Reminder: If you pre-ordered trees from our Annual Tree Sale, Pickup is at the Fonda Fairgrounds on Friday 4/23 from 9 am until 4 pm OR Saturday 4/24 from 9 am until noon. There are a few extra trees available, primarily hardwoods, if you didn't get a chance to place an order. We also have mulch and compost for sale. We do ask that you follow all signs for traffic flow, social distance, and wear masks where required. We look forward to seeing you there!

Happy sunny day! We have been told that some people with online pre-orders are seeing that the dates for pick up are April 8th and 9th. We do not have our trees yet, and the pick-up day for our annual tree sale pre-orders are April 23rd and 24th at the Fonda fairgrounds!

With Spring here, it is time for the Annual Fish Sale here at Montgomery County Soil and Water! We have begun accepting orders for stocking your ponds.
