So even though the weather still doesn't seem like spring, it is good enough for memorial work :) I was out last week doing service work to get ready for Mother's Day. Spring in a good time for cleaning and engraving. We are in the Trifecta Period in the memorial business. Mother's Day (5/14), Memorial Day (5/29) and Father's Day (6/18) - 3 of the busiest days of cemetery visiting within a 33 day period. Other popular days to visit are Easter, Veteran's Day, and a loved ones birthday or anniversary.

So a dear friend has asked me to post the types and prices for memorials the the ulster county area. As I stated most cemeteries are charging about $125 per top square ft. of concrete for foundations. So a 24" x 12" grassmarker will cost you $400.00 + cost of foundation for basic engraving. A slant $600.00 + foundation and upright $1,000.00 +foundation (based on name and years only)
