All Buddhist Friends (with or without altar at home) may recite up to 27times _*Eighty-eight Buddhas Great Repentance (Lifo)*inclusive of the daily homework*. Pray to the *Greatly Merciful and Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva* to eliminate the negative karma on specific misdeeds that you have done in the "current life". Deepest gratitude to the *Greatly Merciful and Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva*, for the opportunity to recite more *Lifo*to eliminate our negative karma. Remember to prepare flowers and fruits for the day. * Note: 1) Under no circumstances, ladies who are pregnant or observing postnatal confinement, and children below 5 years old should recite *more than 7 times Lifo* in total, inclusive of daily homework. 2) Buddhist friends *with altar at home* may offer *First Incense* at midnight tonight until 2:00am. Should you continue to recite scriptures throughout the night, you must keep the incense burning. You may recite Lifo 24 hours round the clock on this day. 3) For those *without altar at home*, you must offer "Heart Incense" before reciting Lifo*. If the recitation of Lifo is split into multiple sessions, the "Heart Incense" must be offered at the beginning of each session. It is best not to recite Lifo between 10:00pm to 5:00am under this circumstances. 4) It is best to repent for specific misdeeds that you have done in the "current life", such as causing harm to others behind their backs, or viewing indecent videos or books, etc. #Additional Note: Recitation of this additional Lifo is not compulsory.
