I would like to take this opportunity to reach out to The Stop and shop organization specifically the East Northport location, wall street huntington location and jericko turnpike huntington location for there extermely generous water donation is support of the NYPD Office Tsakos. And this was just one of the truck loads we picked up

Lodge Members & Friends, As you may have seen on the media,, this past Tuesday the NYPD highway patrol #3 lost one of their hero's. Police Officer Anastasios Tsakos from East Northport was struck and killed by a drunk driver while directing traffic off the Long Island Expressway in Queens from a prior fatal motor vehicle accident. His funeral visitation will be this Monday from 2:00-9:00 pm accross the street at St. Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church and his funeral Mass Tuesday... morning at 10:00 am. The Huntington Moose Lodge has gracefully extended the use of our outside parking areas for the NYPD, SCPD & FDNY to use as needed along with the use of our men's & ladies rooms. Your lodge will be handing out 2,500 bottles of water donated from 3 local Stop & Shop locations (Dix Hills, Huntington Village & East Northport) to the men and women in blue. We are deeply saddened by this tragic horrendous loss in our Moose Lodge Community. Officer Tsakos leaves behind his wife and 2 small children. Please do everything possible to avoid Pulaski Road and the nearby vicinity as roads may also be closed both Monday & Tuesday. May Officer Tsakos Rest In Peace and may he share in Eternal Life.
