This afternoon, the Governor announced that New York State has reached a 70% vaccination rate and that several COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted in commerc...ial and social settings. Effective immediately, state-mandated COVID-19 restrictions are lifted across commercial and social settings including: - Sports & Recreation - Constructions - Manufacturing - Trade - Child Care - Camps - Food Services - Offices - Real Estate - Building - Agriculture - Fishing - Forestry - Amusement & Family Entertainment - Personal Services - Gyms - Retail - Malls - Movie Theaters Also lifted are: - Social Gathering Limits - Capacity Restrictions - Social Distancing - Health Screening - Cleaning and Disinfection Protocols - Contact Information for Tracing Following CDC guidelines mask requirements are still in effect for: - Pre-k-12 Schools - Public Transit - Healthcare Settings This story is still developing. We will be closing the Elizabethtown branch at 3:30 pm today, January 12th, and will remain closed until further notice. We hope to provide you with an update r...egarding when we will reopen the branch soon. While we have taken several actions to protect our staff and members' health and well-being to control the spread of COVID-19, we learned today that an employee in our Elizabethtown branch has tested positive. Staff who had been in contact with this individual have been notified and are self-isolating at home while they work with the Department of Health regarding their quarantine length. We appreciate your patience and understanding under these circumstances and wish our TrailNorth team member a speedy recovery. All TrailNorth branch lobbies have been closed to the public and serving members via the drive-thru since December 21st. While we have taken proactive measures to protect our staff through this pandemic, the rise in cases within our community will continue to pose challenges in keeping branches open as normal.
