Inspiration for my pakora sales originated here in Dehradun. Pakorewale sells nearly 5000 rupees worth of pakoras a day on Tilak Road.

Mother India was at home for holiday brunch: Alu Paratha (stuffed whole wheat breads stuffed with potatoes), Spinach raita, Upma (South Indian semolina with mixed vegetables), pickles, chutneys, hot chai ( vegan and made with whole fresh spices).

Tonite: weather not great but food is! Curried cauliflower and potato, Sri Lankan dal (red lentils) with apples, brown basmati, cucumber raita, papad and pickle. Plus pakoras and hot chai, fresh lime/ginger soda. Tburg Farmers Market from 4-7, Wednesdays until November 1.
Weather is not great but the food still is! Tonight's dinner: curried cauliflower and potato, Sri Lankan red lentils with apples, brown basmati, cucumber raita, papad and pickle. Pakoras, HOT Chai, fresh lime soda. #trumansburgfarmersmarket 4-7 pm every Wednesday till Nov 1.
Today's Autumn menu: Pumpkin Curry, Brown Mung Dal, Spinach Raita, brown Basmati rice, papad, hot pickle. Gluten Free and all organic! Plus our famous cauliflower, potato and onion pakoras, fresh lime soda, mango lassi, and homemade Chai made from all fresh spices. For one more month only at the Trumansburg Farmers Market, Wednesdays 4-7.
Today's dinner: Chickpea and Potatoes on organic brown rice, Capsicum Curry (Karnataka Style), Cucumber Raita, chutney and hot pickle. Pakoras of the day: potato, onion and kale. Drinks: mango lassi. Fresh lime soda, iced chai ( homemade from fresh spices). Trumansburg Farmers Market, 4-7 every Wednesday through October.
Tonight's dinner: Sambar (South Indian vegetable stew), brown basmati rice, curried cabbage, coconut yogurt chutney, papadam (lentil chip) hot Indian pickle. Gluten free and vegan options. PLUS: two kinds of pakora--potato, onion and cauliflower OR hot pepper. Beverages: banana lassi (yogurt shake), fresh lime/ginger soda, iced chai (made from scratch with all fresh ingredients, soy milk). There's a big difference between Indian restaurant food and home style. Come to the Trumansburg Farmers Market from 4-7 each Wednesday and experience the difference.
