Sunday Trail Series just got a little more interesting. MOTIVNY and @On_running are teaming to create something different for our community. On is a Swiss engineered footwear brand born in the Alps and aids in having a perfect shoe for all runners. We’ll be introducing Trail Games for the first time to our Sunday Trail Series on Sunday, May 16th, 2021. Furthest Flag is a game that will put 15 teams head to head to see who can raise their flag the furthest. This game will re...quire race strategy, trail competency, and most importantly teamwork. Join us for the first installation and put your trail legs to the test. *First 30 athletes will be randomly placed into teams. Waitlist available. Target the posterior chain and work the hip hinge pattern with . Complex movements both in and outside of the gym require proper hinge mechanics. So this doesn’t just include barbell squats or kettlebell swings, think tying your shoelaces and picking up babies. Tips: Keep your knees soft when hinging. Drive the legs into the ground while squeezing your glutes into standing position. Keep the spine organized throughout the movement and avoid hyperextendin...g the low back. Maintain band tension throughout the movement. Perform 3 sets of 12 reps to help keep the hips and back healthy. Ft @jawellbeing #Motivmade
Our ability to perform in all three planes of motion is dependent on our ability to resist all three planes of motion. In other words, control and stability of your joints play a big role in how well you take on the demands of sport or your every day life. Add variety, check imbalances, prevent injury, and build resiliency with multi-directional and multi-planar movements. Try this drill out for 40 seconds on one side before switching.
