Around 0715 this morning we got called to a water rescue in the harbor. Chiefs on scene found 2 duck hunters and a dog in the water after their boat capsized. Crews from Port Jefferson Fire Dept and our members geared up for cold water rescue operations. Luckily there was civilian boats in the water already and rescued the hunters and the dog. The dog was transportered by pd to the vet hospital and 2 hunters were brought to local hospital for evaluation. Nice work by everyone involved. Photos taken by Elliot Perry
