50 years ago, five women from Poughkeepsie saw a need in their community. For 50 years Meals on Wheels of Greater Poughkeepsie has served the greater Poughkeepsie area by bringing hand prepared meals to people in the community who are unable to prepare them for themselves.

Meet Volunteer of the Month, Bob Tetrault. Bob spends Thursday mornings volunteering in the kitchen then, along with his mother-in-law, delivers meals in the afternoon. It’s volunteers like Bob that make Meals on Wheels of Greater Poughkeepsie the special place it is.
